During our recent Easter stay at the Museum Inn in the picturesque New Forest, we found ourselves enchanted by this charming country pub. The cosy accommodations in the stable block were perfect for our family group of eight, where we enjoyed not only the fresh coffee and comfy beds but also the wonderfully quiet atmosphere-ideal after a day of outdoor adventures. One of the highlights was the dining experience; both dinner and breakfast surpassed our expectations with a well-curated menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. The staff were genuinely friendly, providing warm and accommodating service that felt personal. The vibrant restaurant bar area created a lively atmosphere that was bustling yet welcoming, allowing us to unwind after our explorations. With ample opportunities for hiking in the surrounding National Park just outside the doorstep, our family couldn't have asked for a better base. The combination of rich décor, coupled with the homey log fire in the residents' lounge, made for a truly memorable stay. We'll undoubtedly be back to create more cherished memories together!
